Yes. You're never locked in. Your data and content belong to you. Every page, content item, theme, and block exports as JSON from your account page. PHPew runs anywhere PHP 8.3 + MySQL (or Maria DB) run. No rip-offs, no plug-ins, no hidden fees or percentages, and no web dev experience needed. We don’t nickel and dime people by the feature: instead, the paid tier offers anything you might need to run a successful online business.
Do you have plugins or themes for sale?
No, and we are not planning to. We help users build websites that work, period. We don’t charge for access to more upgrade tiers. Snazy supports eCommerce, forums, threads, newsletters, analytics, sophisticated scene editing, support, and more. If you want something different, use the styling tools, add a custom block template, or ask us to build it for you. If you're a Pro subscriber, we'll prioritize your requests.
How does the Free plan stay free?
Free sites carry a small "Powered by Snazy" link in the footer -- that is the whole cost. Content is unlimited on every plan, and Free includes 10 GB of media storage. Bandwidth is covered by a simple fair-use policy: if a free site starts serving extreme traffic (say, hotlinked as a file host), we will reach out before anything changes.
What about backups and security?
Daily automated backups for 30 days on all plans. The framework ships with 2FA, CSRF protection, HTML sanitization on every content save, and login-history-with-new-device alerts. Pro plans add audit logging and SAML SSO on the roadmap.
